This material made by Juma in Germany is designed to replicate the skin of a reptile, or dragon. It has managed to do so quite well. To create a pen, this large pen blank will be cut up into smaller blanks.
We can expect pens to be made from this material to show four distinct sides, one with more chatoyance than the others or ones with various different patterns. How exactly this will turn out varies by pen, but that is only half of the fun of course!
